New mural matchup opportunity with Pico Blvd. BID in Santa Monica, CA

Beautify and the Pico Blvd. Business Improvement District are thrilled to announce a new mural opportunity open for artist proposals.

About the Project:

Approx. Dimensions: 30' W x 13' H

Budget: $3,000 Artist Guidance: We would love to feature something original in themes related to optimism, kindness, or love. We also welcome designs that capture this moment in time with a positive message that can inspire the community. A bold, fine-art like design is the style we are looking to capture in the design.

Proposal Details:

Please submit a proposal that includes the following information through the wall profile page:

1. Vision: A written description of your proposed design that includes potential colors and content.

2. Imagery (optional): An image of your design or examples of similar work. Multiple images should be compiled into a single PDF. 

3. Budget: A proposed budget that includes materials, labor, equipment, and Beautify's 22% service fee. Please review the suggested budget but feel free to submit a budget you feel is appropriate.

Deadline: Sunday, June21st @ 11:59 PM

Proposals will be reviewed as they are received.

Once your proposal is submitted, wall owners will be able to directly message you in the proposal with questions or hire you to create a mock-up. Make sure to check your dashboard for updates. When a final artist is selected, a notification will be sent to all artists. Please contact moral@beautifyearth.com with any questions about the project or proposal requirements. 

If you have previously submitted a proposal and are awaiting a response, we thank you for your patience as we work to push projects forward and navigate through this challenging time. We are still waiting to finalize artists on a number of projects and will notify the artist community once projects are closed.
