Beautify and Stray Angel Films are thrilled to announce a new mural opportunity open for artist proposals.
About the Project:
Approx. Dimensions: 90' W x 18' H
Budget: $8,000-$10,999 Artist Guidance: Stray Angel Films believes that representation in film and television matters and we'd like to commission a wrap around two wall mural that highlights the creative visions and contributions of people of color both in front of and behind the camera. We want to celebrate filmmakers of color (actors, directors, writers, producers, and other artists) as well as call to mind the positive portrayals and iconic roles brought to life by artists of color over the last 100 years of cinema. Proposal Details:
Please submit a proposal that includes the following information through the wall profile page:
Vision: A written description of your proposed design that includes potential colors and content.
Imagery (optional): An image of your design or examples of similar work. Multiple images should be compiled into a single PDF.
Budget: A proposed budget that includes materials, labor, equipment, and Beautify's 22% service fee. Please review the suggested budget but feel free to submit a budget you feel is appropriate.
Deadline: Sunday, June 21st @ 11:59 PM
Once your proposal is submitted, wall owners will be able to directly message you in the proposal with questions or hire you to create a mock-up. Make sure to check your dashboard for updates. When a final artist is selected, a notification will be sent to all artists. Please contact moral@beautifyearth.com with any questions about the project or proposal requirements.
